During an interview with Sara Wilson, Director of Canales Latam of Veeam Software, Adrián Tortora, CTO of Soluciones, made some comments about the partnership that Soluciones maintains with Veeam. The meeting between the two executives took place in May, in the run-up to the awards gala in which Soluciones was honored with the Veeam Impact Partner of the Year Award 2016, held in the American city of New Orleans, as part of the annual event VeeamON.
Tortora began the interview remarking that the relationship between both companies has “far exceeded” expectations. He also highlighted the incorporation of Veeam’s tools to the services of backup and high availability of Soluciones, and pointed out that in back-up services, “we had never chosen software that was our workhorse”.
Soluciones maintains a technological and business relationship of more than 12 years with VMware and its integration with the Veeam tools was also mentioned in the talk. Tortora said that closing the Availability circuit was one of the key reasons that motivated them to include Veeam within their portfolio of Virtualization solutions: “we needed a back-up offer that would work together with VMware”.
The level of satisfaction on the part of the clients was another of the topics addressed during the interview. The executive described Veeam’s acceptance as “very good” and linked it both to the simplicity of the software and its ease of implementation.
Solutions is a Platinum Partner of Veeam’s ProPartner program. In Tortora’s opinion, the most remarkable aspects of the program are its “simplicity”, the “personal relationship” and the possibility of “working as a team”.
Finally, the executive of Veeam also wanted to expand on the relationship between the two organizations. In line with Tortora’s opinion, Wilson called the partnership a “mutual benefit”. The partnership between Veeam and Soluciones provides “a good return on investment,” she concluded.
